lightning/Chain Lightning
The animation of these 2 spells on this mod is based off of attack speed and cast speed. VERY annoying to deal with at times. Just thought i would put it out there mabye change how it works or something.

Righteous Edge

Gets damage buff by concentration just like hammer but does fire damage
. I think it should only get buffed by +% fire damage. Just another idea. Oh and the speed of attack is sort of odd but a nice idea.

Dragon Talon
It seems it only kicks once if you have charges. Not sure if it was like this on CLOD because i never had a kick sin but I was wondering if that is how it is suppose to be or just a bug in the game.


Ashes to Ashes
Only work with weapon attacks. Not much use for a mainly caster class.

Curses!!
As cool as the old ones are I think we are in need of a new one. Perhaps one that lowers stats by amount or percent would be nice. Also one that lowers cast speed. Quite a few of them lower attack speed.

Arctic strike
This skill should be part of the Shape shifting tree. Not only would that make for some slightly different builds but it would give werebears a much needed new move.

Fireburst projectile
As far as I can tell it is shot like a throwing potion only doing damage by shockwave. It would be nice to see it go straight like a normal arrow and able to hit enemies. Tho I could see that being to overpowering with pierce.

Personal Journal
It only counts weapon kills. :( probably a d2 engine problem. stuff like that on alot of mods and it never works with spells

Assassin Katanas
They seem to be pretty much worthless.
1. You get less +skill levels then you would with duel claws.
2. Can't block and use alot of there skills.
3. They don't have any focus to them for any builds.
4. They don't have splash damage like most 2 handed weapons so they make worthless melee weapon.
5. Along with the no splash damage they are to slow to attack with anyhow.

Lightning, Chain Lightning, Dragon Talon are working as they did in LoD.

Ashes to Ashes is passive 'Reanimate as...'

Putting 'Arctic Strike' on a different tree is something I don't intend to do.

Fireburst Arrow is intended to work the way it currently works.

The personal journal does need to say 'non-spell kills' or somesuch, yes.

Assassin Katanas should have Splash Damage. Yours don't? They're also likely to have their stats tweaked in the future.

May be short but it's to the point.

And I found out my problem with Ashes to Ashes. It doesn't work with summons. Tho I can see why you would have it that way if you did.

Does indeed trigger from spells, but only if you're the one who gets the kill.

Curses!!
Monsters don't have stats.

Personal Journal
Correct.
The counter is increased by an 'invisible' 100% ctc "+1 to counter" on kill.
And the "on Kill" is only triggered by weapon-damage kills, and poison damage.

Assassin Katanas

1. Yes. But, Dual Claw attack-speed is hard coded. And it's s-l-o-w. (Fastest is dual claws / Scissors Katars, at -30 WSM)
4. False. They spawn with Splash, unless they have +skills.
Same deal as staves, incidentally.
5. See #1.
While I haven't sat and methodically compared, this shouldn't be an issue.

The curses was just an idea. But you could always make a curse that has the same effects as if the monster had lower stats such as less life, defense, chance to hit. and for a new curse for enamies give them the lower stats.

and as for the Katana it is even more worthless then haha. but he said it will get improved later.

As to the curses,
Don't get me wrong, it's a good idea.
It's just that afaik there isn't much that can be done, the engine being what it is.
