User Security Precautions

Brass tacks.

This site is very likely to continue being targeted by hackers and spammers for the length of digital existence. I've accepted this fact, though I couldn't possibly tell you why it's true, because hacking a website related to an obscure video game modification is little more than nerd masturbation. There is virtually nothing valuable to gain from such an endeavor.

That is unless one could somehow acquire the email addresses and/or passwords of users. Thus, I'd like to remind you all of a few very important security precautions you can take as a member of this site:

1. Use a unique password for this website and do not ever give it out. (As a sidenote: I cannot access your password, I do not care to, and I will never ask you for it.)

2. If you have multiple email addresses, use the least important one as your contact address on this website.

3. Log out when you're done. (Alternatively, you can clear your browser's cache before you close it.)

If I think of anything else in the future, I'll add it here.
